Barnabee is a monster who doesn't like to lose. This book follows Barnabee who flips his lid when things don't go his way. Will he learn to be happy for his friends who win? Or will he stay mad? 

This is a great book for the classroom. The author  has worked in elementary education for 4 years. During her time she observed students struggling with not always winning. As we all know we can't always be first. This book helps students learn that yelling and throwing tantrums is not a good way to behave. Being happy for a friend helps displace that anger into a celebration.
